French Toast with Homemade Apple Butter

Homemade Apple Butter 
2 lbs apples 
2 tsp cinnamon 
1/2 tsp nutmeg

Peel and roughly chop apples. Place apples in a slow cooker. Cook overnight on low, or 10 hours. Add cinnamon and nutmeg. Using an emersion blender, blend the cooked apple mixture into puree inside slow cooker. Leave uncovered and cook on high for 3 hours until reduced. Let the mixture cool, and pour into jars.
