Peaches & Cream Oatmeal

Peaches & Cream Oatmeal 

2 peaches, diced
1 plum, diced
1 cup oats
2 cups water
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cardamom
1 tbsp honey
Half and half, or milk for topping

Bring water, oats, spices to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook oats uncovered for 5 minutes. Fold in fruit and honey, remove from heat and cover 2 minutes. Add any additional cardamom and honey to taste.  Spoon into bowls, serve warm with cream on top.
