our Fall Wedding
After we got back from our honeymoon, I was so jazzed on everything we had just seen and experienced together. Big Sur, driving up Highway 1 with the top down, drinking some of the best wine we've ever tasted. I was beyond ready to talk to anyone and everyone about the honeymoon. The questions I got though were far more geared towards our wedding day. Was it magical? Were there any hiccups? I felt startled trying to think back on the day. It was beautiful, felt magical, and went exactly how we wanted it to, but it also felt like such a blur. In my memory, the day felt like everything was moving in fast forward. I'm watching the interactions, well wishes, music and dancing fly by in my mind, trying to remember exactly what it was like.
The truth is that the clearest and calmest part of the day was standing on a backdrop with my now husband taking pictures of each other with my hasselblad. I had to slow down to load the film, although I did offload that task onto a groomsman at one point (helps to have photo friends, thank you David!). It was the most us thing we could do in that moment, and we got to really look at each other, the best way that we know how.
It's been nearly a month since our big day, and I'm so excited to share it here.
my girl Tawni captured the day perfectly & below are some of our favorites
