Ginger Berry Vodka Soda

September has arrived and I'm itching for my favorite season to kick in already. But seeing as it's 80° and muggy, there's no reason we can't give you one last summer cocktail. When I discovered this can of ginger berry sunshine I knew it needed to be in a drink. The can was just too pretty and it tasted too good to not be showcased with some fruit and fancy liquor. Speaking of the ginger berry sunshine, it has a really great backstory and description (it can't get much better than "when you're hungover it's a cheeseburger"). I haven't tried it as a hangover cure but now I'm curious.

Cheers to all the summer cocktails you've been drinking on rooftops and back porches, we hope you love this one as much as we do.

Ginger Berry Vodka Soda

2 oz vodka
3/4 oz fresh blackberry juice
1/2 oz campari
Legendary Sunshine Ginger Berry drink

To make blackberry juice, muddle 3 oz blackberries in a glass, pour contents into a fine mesh sieve over another bowl and press through to remove seeds. In a pint glass filled with ice, combine vodka, blackberry juice, and campari. Stir to chill. Strain into a coupe glass and top with ginger berry drink.

*note
If ginger berry drink is unavailable, it can be substituted with ginger ale
