In My Closet: Boys of Summer

IMG_1294.jpg

Well, it has been a while. In My Closet has been scarce since I featured Mandi's incredible wardrobe a few months back, and it felt long overdue to get it back on here.  I had the name of this post stuck in my head before I even got working on it, and now I can't get Don Henley out of my head. My summer uniform is on the boyish side of things, shocking, I know. I think I've finally accepted what Philly summers feel like, (this is me).

I gravitate to things that are light and easy, without too much emphasis on accessories. I've been living in a pair of black leather sliders that look like they've got three years of wear on them, so I've been changing it up with high tops and pointy flats. I found those vintage swim trunks up there years ago and have paired them with just about every top since. I get the most out of my oversized shirts, cut offs and anything white. My tomboy workshirt from Madewell has proven to be the all-season staple as I carry it into these warmer months.

Here, a handful of my favorites at the moment

White oversized button down thrifted
Vintage Boys Swim Trunks thrifted
Pointed Flats from Aldo

Tomboy Workshirt from Madewell
White Shorts from Urban Outfitters
Converse High Tops (found in Paris)
Oversized Watch from Asos
Wayfarers from Ray Ban
